Simple and clear

Your practice is yours.

This version of Simple Maths processes calculator inputs, practice answers and scores in your browser. The site code does not send your answers or learning progress to a server or save them to an account.

Progress saved on this device

We use browser local storage to keep topic practice counts, completed-session counts, practice dates, daily challenge completions and questions to revisit with their review dates. We do not save what you type in answer fields. This information remains after you close the page, until you clear it or your browser removes it.

Anyone using the same browser profile can see this progress. It does not sync across devices, browsers or the www and non-www addresses. Use “Clear saved progress” on the home page to remove it. If browser storage is unavailable, practice still works for the current page visit; we show a message that progress cannot be saved.

No learner accounts

You do not need to provide a name, email address, age, school or payment information to use the lessons, practice or calculators. Please do not put personal information in answer fields.

Services used to load the site

The hosting provider may process ordinary connection information, including IP addresses and request logs, to deliver the pages. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives the connection information needed to serve those files. See Google’s privacy policy.

If you email us

If you use our correction email, your email service sends your address and message to the publisher. We use that correspondence to investigate the issue and respond. Keep your message focused on the page and question; avoid including student names, school details or other personal information.

Advertising and analytics

This version does not include advertising scripts, affiliate links or analytics code. These practices will need to be reviewed and this notice updated before such services are added.

Copying calculator results

Using “Copy result” asks your browser to write the displayed answer to your clipboard. It does not read your clipboard.
